From Formulation Advisor to Founding Partner: Pharmacist Mine Ekber Joins the CIRÈLL Family
From the Pharmacy Counter to Founding Partner
Mine Ekber has been alongside CIRÈLL since day one — behind the scenes. As a pharmacist who has worked with thousands of customers' skin at the counter and heard patients' real questions and real complaints firsthand, she has put the majority of the 3,000+ sourced articles on the CIRÈLL Journal, along with many formulation decisions, through her scientific filter. Today's announcement formalizes that contribution: Mine Ekber now takes part in the brand's leadership as Founding Partner and Chief Scientific Officer.
Why Does This Change Matter?
In the dermocosmetics market, many brands try to legitimize their products with a lab report or an influencer endorsement. CIRÈLL's founding philosophy has always been different: educate first, sell second. Mine Ekber joining as a Founding Partner takes that philosophy a step further — a pharmacist's clinical experience now has a direct say not just in content production, but in shaping brand strategy and the formulation roadmap.
What Does Her Role as CSO Cover?
In her new role, Mine Ekber takes on broad responsibility — from the scientific justification behind CIRÈLL's formulation decisions, to setting raw material selection criteria (including relationships maintained with suppliers like Evonik), to auditing the clinical accuracy of content on the CIRÈLL Journal. In practice, this means every new barrier-focused formula and every published article will continue to be filtered through time spent with real patients at the pharmacy counter.
CIRÈLL's Approach
"Where the market offers empty marketing promises, we bring a pharmacist's rigor and formulation engineering. With a pharmacist's authority and the strategy of biomimetic science, we're ready to raise the standard in dermocosmetics. For CIRÈLL, this step is concrete proof that the brand's 'educate first, sell second' principle isn't just words on paper."
